A Special Portion
“The world is huge and so are the hearts of those who survive on it.”
Be it a busy ant or a chirping bird that sits on your window, all have a special care and concern towards what belongs to themselves.
We, human beings, though sinful in nature know how to give good gifts to our children (Luke 11:13).
God is no way shorter when compared to his creations.
He loves his children and cares for them.
Not only that he provides but also reserves special privileges for his children.
The Bible says in Matthew 14:22 (NLT),
“Immediately after this, Jesus insisted that his disciples get back into the boat and cross to the other side of the lake, while he sent the people home.”
Right after his ministry, we see Jesus insisting (demanding forcefully; ordering) his disciples to get into the boat that was there and go to the other side of the lake.
While there were still thousands of people including women and children and lots of sick people who were just healed heading back home, Jesus gave special attention to his disciples.
I assume that, it could be the only boat standing there since all the people reached that place by foot and that might be the boat in which Jesus reached.
Whatever the reason would be, Jesus reserved it for his disciples.
What a good God we serve!
We have the privilege to enjoy his special attention and blessings when we enter into his divine territory.
The God we serve is not partial (Deuteronomy 10:17) yet, He rewards those who seek Him diligently (Hebrews 11:6).
God bless you!
