Wait, Hope & Watch

sunshine in the darkness

I wait for the LORD, my soul does wait, and in his word do I hope. My soul waits for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning. Psalm 130:5,6

Though waiting is really a tough regimen to do in this racing world, God compels us to be dormant in body, soul and mind. As children of God, we do not wait in vain but in hope and expectation, for we have His unfailing word for us to fill the bill. Yeah, we have a never-failing reason to wait in hope. Also, we need to watch with a strong desire for the morning to dawn, more than that of a night watch-man, because his dawn soon fades back into another night, but our dawn is unfading and unending because we are watching and waiting in hope for the Sun of righteousness to crack the dusk for us.
